Cafe Zupas in Boise

Very unimpressed with the service lately. The food is amazing.... service not so much. Managers are rude. Trying to be understanding but it’s difficult when it happens over and over again.

Unimpressed by cost vs size of sub . We ordered from post mates so its marked up a bit but $10 for a very small sub that would feed a child.. not cool, was expecting at least something similar to a 6 in or 8 in. The large salad is also very unimpressive... wondering what a small looks like. Hopefully the taste redeems all of this.

If the delicious food isnt enough to get you to go, the staff are EXCEPTIONAL, kind people and the place is so clean and beautiful.

I just ordered the mushroom bisque and it looked nothing like on the picture of the website smh. The soup was dark gray and extremely greasy with like yellow orangey oil. The flavor was all right ig?..& I also ordered a garden salad with chicken and egg & it literally all fit in a small soup bowl and that was a large salad too! Ugh! Way too expensive for the amount of greens that were given to me in my salad. What a rip off! Oh and the dressing for the salad was nasty! Oily as hell! Never again! Y’all suck!

I am not a soup lover but I changed my mind after trying theirs!! I crave it now! The Red Pepper Lobster is AMAZING!! I love how all the employees are always happy and smiling no matter how busy they are!!

Excellent sandwiches and salads. Good healthy eats. Several kinds of flavored water that are delicious. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for good healthy food. They are pretty fast as well!

I was angry with the staff for not hearing my order correctly, but then my grandson reminded me I was acting inappropriately and mean.He was right. I would like to apologize to the staff and thank them for the delicious food.

Omg. Amazing food. Great prices! I love the chicken enchilada soup. Its so good. Pairs really good with the honey bacon club.

The food is very fresh, your options can be somewhat customized, and they always give free chocolate strawberries with every meal. Also you can adjust for vegetarian, gluten free, etc.

When I went back to pay for 2 kids meal and a sandwich they charge me for 3 kids meals and sandwich. So I figured they deserved a tip for comping my original order due to cards only policy. I will check receipt before leaving next time. 2 happy meals and sandwich plus soup and sandwich deal ended up costing 38 plus change.

The soup and salad are good. You choose your own ingredients for your salad. However they need additional employees to clean up the tables.

I really, really like Zupas! I am a lover of food that loves big portions; however, the taste here is very good. They make salads taste like they aren't healthy, but are! I like the atmosphere, the kindness, and the overall quality of the place top to bottom. I am a fan!

Thai steak salad was fresh, but it lacked the Thai/lao taste. If I was the creator of this dish I would compare the recipe of น้ำตก or waterfall beef salad dish

Love this place. The service is quick without sacrificing quality and the food is excellent. Fresh ingrediants, perfect portions and lots of choices for a great price. My new favorite place for lunch!

Love this place when in town. Quick and easy lunch. Sandwiches, salads, and soups. Salads and soups you can get half portions and they still look big. Soup comes with option of bread (at no charge), and they offer a free chocolate dipped strawberry. Oyster crackers or regular crackers are available by the utensils.

The food and company seem great. The service can be lacking at times. It's a bit weird the way they set it up.

Was in meeting out of town friends on Saturday. After eating delicious food we wanted to take a photo. At that moment I believe his name was Danny he came in not even on shift yet asking if we needed help. Took a bunch of good group photos and was so nice. Hope he’s a manager.

Great place for semi-healthy alternatives. Good choice of soup, salads, and sandwiches. They recently changed up their menu, and some of the favorites are no longer available, but there are some new choices that are tasty. The ambiance is simple and inviting, and the cleanliness of the location and employee service tends to be consistent and positive.

I always love their food but the reason I am writing a review today is because of Carlos. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. His energy put a smile on my face.

I'd give 6 stars if I could.Fresh food that is healthy and delicious! Keto and vegan friendly. We had the 2fer meal. Soup and sandwiches....that came with a chocolate covered strawberry. I really enjoyed the tomato bisque.

It was suggested to me by a friend on Saturday that I should visit this place. I figured that this would be a great place for my wife and I to go on a lunch date which we do either on Mondays or Tuesdays. Normally I would surprise her but because she has been keto for over 6 months I wanted her to have a chance to look at the menu first so I just showed her as we were driving by on Sunday. We went today and I can tell you right now that the soups that we had were amazing the steak sandwich that I had was amazing and the creme brulee dessert was amazing. Based on the conversation I had with my friend I had high hopes and they were not dashed whatsoever. I will visit this place again and I will not hesitate to bring friends and family who visit from out of town to this place. The service was quick and the crew cleaning up were very attentive

I had a great experience with customer service. I had steak and cheese sandwich and I was not a fan, also had red lobster soup which was delicious. I also tried their rocky caramel brownie and it was ok, very sweet.

Best deal in town. For less than $10 you get a sandwich and salad or soup, a roll, and chocolate cover strawberry! I've never had a combination I didn't like. My favorite soup is the Wisconsin Califlower hands down but again, I've enjoyed everything. The service at the Milwaukee store is always so professional, informative, and quick!! Love this place!

This place is unique, I'll give it that. But the real reason this place gets the 5 stars is because of an employee there named Danny. He was entertaining, knowledgable, joyful, and a real breath of fresh air. If only all restaurants had a "Danny".

Love Zupas. Food great, staff great, drive thru during quarantine great, but I just found a black hair in the soup, after already eating it all.... Definitely makes the stomach feel a little off after eating. Overall, great, but that knocked some points off :(

Their sandwich was really good. It was super fresh! I had lobster bisque and it was a little spicy but as a whole it was great

More than impressed with the staff and customer service. Natalie went far and beyond any expectations and is the main reason I go so far out of my way to eat at this location in Boise. As always the food is amazing but it's the customer service that keeps me coming back. thanks again Natalie!

Delicious as always! I was talking to one of the girls working the counter, she said she was never big on salads until working here. And we laughed about how amazing the salads are! The soups are killer too, definitely recommend the new chickpea and veggie soup!

Terrible sandwich, the soups are decent but I have tried several sandwiches and every time they are inedible piles of mush! I won't try again.

Very good food. A variety of choices. We anticipated at least $100 spent but only spent $54 for 7 people. First time I had Zupas was in SLC with my grandma. She thoroughly enjoyed it. Since then, my family has gone a few times since coming back home.It's fast and easy, especially lunch-on-the-go at work or between appointments. Sometimes there is a wait but it hasn't been bad so far. The staff works diligently to make sure your order is correct and ready in a decent amount of time.

Very good, it's always good at Zupas even though they left the chicken off my BBQ chicken salad, it was still delicious.

Phenomenal fresh deli style sandwiches and amazing soups, and fresh flavorful salads. I love this place and always bring my health conscious friends here

My wife loves this place. I have tried most of the menu and the only thing I have enjoyed is their grilled cheese with tomato soup. It is good, but pricey for a meal that isn't that filling. The service is usually quick.

My wife introduced to Zupas about 2 months ago. For someone that can't have a lot of sugar there are a lot of great options. I switch between the build your own and the keto options. $12 is a little expensive for one person but the food is really good. It's a nice healthy treat but not an every week stop dor me.

Food tasted terrific. The servers were polite. Was disappointed with the portion size for a salad, left me hungry.

I feel like Cafe Zupas is just an overpriced Panera bread, or is it the other way around? Either way if I wanted to spend $15 on lunch I would go somewhere I would be waited on.The strawberry is nice...

First Zupas I've ever been to and I gotta say, pretty damn delicious. I got a half BBQ chicken salad, a roll, and a chocolate covered strawberry for like $7. Interior was very well kept at this particular branch. I can't remember our Host's name but he was fantastic, very clean cut with glasses.Will end up back here at some point.

Very rude ,ignorant staff, the guy with red hair has no idea what is customer service, when I walked in nobody was in line he totally ignored me for 10 minutes chatting with his friend or coworker making him food to go who was not even in line! It took about half an hour to order a bowl of soup when the store was dead at 4 pm,never will go back to this location

Fresh food so yummy!! Wonderful staff. Helpful and they did a great job of keeping things safe and clean.

Zupas is a great place to go when you’re close to it, and there’s many choices to choose from. A few small things I like about it is how fast they make your meal and how many people are available to help. Although, the temperature inside the restaurant is freezing! Sometimes I have to remember to bring a long sleeve or coat inside. Also, sometimes when I ask for an extra piece of bread or another strawberry they’ll forget it. Those are only small problems, still a great place to eat!

After checking online and calling the number to make sure they were still open I drove down to the restaurant and even their door said 9pm closing and their door being unlocked I walked in and was completely ignored for a few minutes till someone finally walked out to tell me they closed at 8pm when it was 8:30. If you were closed earlier why would everything say later and even have to front door unlocked. Horrible customer service.

Probably my new favorite lunch place. Broad selection. Soup and salad was excellent, tasty dessert. I'll definitely go back and try a sandwich. Quick, fair price, good food.

So good! Everything is fresh and it tastes like it. I've tried the sandwiches, salads and soups - All of them are excellent.
